First things first

Why is this place called "derpina"?

The first version of this server started as a very simple NAS with a really under-specced machine, namely an Atom processor with relatively low ram but a big HDD. Hence the name for a "not so brilliant" machine. Eventually I upgraded that machine to it's current revision (mark IV we can call it at the time of writing this) but the name persisted as everyone knew about the machine and we started saying things like "that's on derpina"

So the name stuck and I added more services that were accessed from outside the network, so I got a domain for it, and here we are now.
